Recommendations on Total Stations

My company does a lot of revamp work at refineries. We are looking to get into a total station to help with tie ins to existing equipment and plant design.

The two systems I have looked at are the Nikon NPL's and the Topcon 3000 series.

Does anyone out there have any recommendations or experience with these systems or others?
