New Heather Mills News Story - Lame excuse for some poor jokes

BBC News reports, "Heather Mills has said she would rather lose the rest of her limbs than repeat the trauma of her marriage breakdown."

Since news reports confirmed that Sir Paul McCartney had separated from his wife, Heather Mills-McCartney, more details have continued to come to light. As evidenced from recent comments to the media, Ms. Mills is distraught over the split. "He had been my crutch for so long", she has also commented on her vilification by the public, "I have no idea why this has happened, I'm really stumped".

Part of the problem is the numerous rumors that have sprung up, most of which seem to blame Ms. Mills. Some of these suggested that infidelity may have been the cause. "She's terrible" a source stated, "always trying to get her leg over".

Another source has suggested that she has had an ongoing battle with alcoholism which was the cause. "Sir Paul couldn't handle it anymore. He would get home at night and find her legless" a careless speculator announced.

Others have even attributed this to a problem which started with the present that Sir Paul bought her prior to the wedding. Apparently he gave her a new prosthetic leg for Christmas. But this is unlikely to be the cause as that was just a stocking-filler.

There certainly is no doubt that it hasn’t been easy for Ms. Mills going through a very public separation, a fact that has been recognized by people close to her. According to a close friend, "She's been running around in circles. She will need all the support she can get. It's not like it’s easy to walk out on a relationship like this"


Although Ms, Mills stated that she is very unlikely to marry again, when Paul was asked if he would ever consider going down on one knee again, he said “I would prefer it if you called her Heather”. Whether he will or will not re-marry is still unclear, but it is certain that, now Ms. Mills has left him, he's going to struggle to find another woman who can fill her shoe.

It is not known whether a pre-nuptial agreement was signed prior to the marriage. Paul McCartney is one of the richest men in the world, and if an agreement has been signed it is believed that she won't have a leg to stand on.

It's a very sad world we live in when Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are facing divorce and all anyone seems to want to do is make jokes about her false leg.
Personally, I think it's prosthetic.

Paul is an icon and she has a rough road ahead of her if she does no settle for the $50 million he has offered her and go away.
