"Surfing: Nelscott set for Friday in Lincoln City

The Nelscott reef tow in classic, a surf event that made it's debut last year off the coast of Lincoln City, is to take place Friday. (Nov. 8th)

With just two days' notice, top surfers are on their way to the Oregon coast to compete in North America's premier tow surfing contest, drawn by 40 foot waves and $20,000 in prize money.

I have seen and heard the big waves off the Oregon coast... truly awesome... a must see experience even if you don't surf.
