The black dude or the chick?

Barack Obama or Hillary? Who will it be?

Are there odds in Vegas on this yet?

red-beard 12-24-2006 04:51 AM

Both - Obama will be VP

Icemaster 12-24-2006 05:20 AM

Bet the other way around. Billary polarizes people, doesnt seem that Obama does.

red-beard 12-24-2006 05:28 AM

Yes she does, but she only really pisses off the Republicans.

Icemaster 12-24-2006 05:31 AM

That's why I think it would spell doom for the Dems again to put her on point (or on the ticket at all)...need someone who would be more appealing to a broader spectrum. Remember it's still just a popularity contest.

Merry Christmas BTW.

Drdogface 12-24-2006 06:22 AM

I can't stand the thought of either one

lendaddy 12-24-2006 06:44 AM

Clinton and McCain are both 4 to 1 odds, Obama and Rudy are about 10 to 1.

cmccuist 12-24-2006 06:45 AM

Obama has about the same chance as a snowball in hell. Obama Barak? Are you kidding me? His name might as well be Osama Jihad Slayer of the Infidel. He's a black socialist. Nice choice. Hillary is laughing her giant ass off right now.

Also, the VP choice is irrelevant. Nobody has ever changed their vote based on the VP candidate.

dhoward 12-24-2006 06:52 AM

Obama is half black.
Just like Tiger, my favorite Thai golfer.

Yeah, Ruuuuuudy.

Edited for content. - inappropriate pic removed. -Z-man.

We know what happed the last time he met Hillary, don't we?

the 12-24-2006 07:55 AM

She gave him a Lewinsky?!?

Zeke 12-24-2006 08:15 AM

It would be nice if an actual statesman were to lead the country for a change. Jeez, if this is all we have to choose from, I guess Bono ought to run too. Oh wait, he's not a citizen. That would let Arnold in. Now there's a team, Arnold and Bono.

Don't you think it's time for the US to take choosing a leader seriously? Do you see other countries electing celebs? I mean the fact that Al Sharpton even made it to the stage......

Oh well, just like Keith Oberman, I don't vote. Do what you gotta do.

I wouldn't bother to pee on either one of them even if they were on fire,
and feel almost the same way towards those that would vote for either one of these parasitic leaches.
Oh sure, if you were on welfare of recieving social services they would take care of you, but watch out if you actually have a job and a paycheck. It won't last long.

I'm going to be losing my job soon?!? When??

Porsche-O-Phile 12-24-2006 09:13 AM

I've said it before and I'll say it again - if the Democrats are collectively stupid enough to nominate Hillary, it'll (1) hand the election to the Republicans (unless they're stupid enough to nominate Jeb Bush or Newt Gingrich or Tom Foley - nothing would surprise me at this point. . .) and (2) ensure the fragmentation and collapse of the party.

American Politics has become a charade. The notion of "public service" is a joke. It's entertainment at this point like the "Apprentice".

the 12-24-2006 09:23 AM

Jeff, I used to firmly believe that, too.

But I've kinda re-examined it. Remember, Bill Clinton is still very popular. The public is forgiving. The past is "the good old days," particularly in light of the Iraq mess we are in.

I believe if Bill Clinton could run again, he would win easily.

So, how about a little "A Vote for Hillary is a Vote for Bill" strategy? It's true, if she's elected, he's back in the White House. He gets out and campaigns at least a much, if not more, than her. Very highly visible.

Take that with the continuation of her obvious public move to the center and the softening of her image (both physically and otherwise).

Me, if forced to bet right now, I'd bet against her winning. But I don't outright laugh at the idea anymore.

fingpilot 12-24-2006 11:09 AM

First off, Obama is not really black. Doesn't look like it, doesn't act like it, certainly doesn't politically claim it. Might be a tough call there.

Lastly, no way Hillary is a chick. In any conceptual possibility.

911boost 12-24-2006 03:46 PM

Im gonna take a page from the Lib's book.

If Hillary wins, I am moving to Canada.

Of course, just like them, I won't really move, just do a lot of *****ing.
