Anybody else on duty at or visiting CES in Vegas this year?

I'll be hanging around Hilton 28115 North Tower . . .

I'm doing a day trip on Tuesday. 1st flight out of OAK, last flight back. Taking my son along too...

Going to spot trends, troll a bit for some customers...

Went to CES once, never again. Took me 60 mins to get from one hall to the next. I thought E3 was bad but CES takes the cake for crowded.

Hey I allready bin dere and done that... i have a part-time behind the scenes job...

I'll be in town monday am. Prolly get out of their quickly too and head up to Beatty and have a cheese burger at the Burrrow-in.

Audio Plus Services - Importers of Focal (JMlab), Cambridge Audio, YBA, Mordaunt-Short, Dream Vision etc. I've been going to CES almost every year since 1982.

We call the convention center area 'the zoo' & it takes a full 30 minutes to briskly walk from one end to the other non-stop. We moved to the Hilton suites last year & saved $150K in our show costs & consumers can't find us . . .

Off to the airport . . .

This will be the 2nd CES I will miss. I might go back to next years.

I'll be there on Thursday to pick up some spoils (closing day is a good time to buy goodies) and maybe for a while on Monday morning (have to catch a flight later on Monday)

So that's where we should send the pizza and the hookers?

I go to CES most years, but am skipping this year. Will see if all the blogs devoted to CES can keep me up to speed on interesting new products. Too damn tiring to hike around the place, wait 30 min for a monorail, etc. Instead, going to NYC for a couple of conferences.

If you have an extra pair of Grande Utopia Be it would be cheaper to ship to California than back to home, so I will hold on to them for you.
