The real deal? Let's see. In his 4 years with the 49ers, Garcia broke the team record for passing yardage in a season, beating out Montana and Young. He made the pro bowl 3 times. He orchestrated the 2nd largest comeback in a game, erasing a 3rd quarter 38-14 deficit. So why'd the Niners release him? The Eagles were short four all-pros for yesterdays game, so the result is no real big surprise.

Besides, it's nice to see the Saints win one(for once).

Maybe if Mike and Nate had banged and coked up a few more strippers before that game he'd have not played that day, and wouldn't have gotten hurt.

I like Jeff a lot, but talk to me when he's taken a team with almost no talent at the skill positions to so many consecutive conference title games(the first three), and a superbowl. Then come within 3 pts of beating a dynasty in said superbowl. BTW, McNabb has been to six pro-bowls. ;)
