Once again, I find my standards are either ridiculously high or those of my acquaintances are way too low. Are so many of you guys in (or recently out of) prison?

What passes for "hot" here is often room temperature.

I think the very term "hot" is played out in and of itself. They can't all be 'hot' or the term itself becomes meaningless, yet they all think they're hot. I actually had a g/f ask me if I thought she was hot (I think you guys can figure out which one) and I told her that despite the boob job and tummy tuck, she wasn't 'hot'

Especially the "they all think they're hot" part.

It's got to be tough to be a run-of-the-mill, unremarkable brunette between 5'5" and 5'9"... same look as 70% of the rest of the female population. Especially in NYC; it's like a Kate Spade/Steve Madden/GAP-wearing clone convention.

But they're all, mysteriously, "hot" and therefore deserve everything in life to be handed to them. Just ask them.

Sometimes hot is not the physical stuff.

Worked with 2 women. One was ridiculously smokin. Perfect bod, beutiful face, killer rack, great personality but she there was something missing. You felt like you were hanging out with your sister.

The other one had a bit of a big butt, little boobs, pretty face, could go from sweat to ***** in the blink of an eye but you got around her and you just wanted to do her right then and there.

I spoke to other guys in the office about it and the general concensus was the same on both.

I don't know if it's pheremones or what but sometimes it's not all about the looks. There's a vibe that you get.

My son is 18. He has gone through a series of girlfriends. All of them were dolls with amazing attributes imho. We had the father son talk years ago and he assured me he wasn't going to have sex until he was married. What is HOT. There are just some women that when they walk into a room all the guys fall over themselves, its not really a matter of how beautiful but a matter of how she carrys herself, how she dresses etc. There really aren't that many women that have that appeal.
