Yeah, that's bad. No doubt. But doesn't that happen in drag racing now and then? And at over 300 mph?

He's very lucky he didn't have any guard rails or other obstacles to collect along the way. I'm sure dirt at 230 mph is hard as hell hut nothing like wrapping it around a tree.

Yeah, and it's nice to see that he's still the same old Richard, too, personality and everything. I remember reading some of the articles after the crash that he was having memory problems and whatnot, which isn't surprising seeing the footage. Glad the show's still running - I read the BBC was going to cancel it if he didn't fully recover.
