I've seen worse.

M.D. Holloway 02-25-2007 07:53 PM

It isn't that bad, not into the color. What don't you like?

equality72521 02-25-2007 07:55 PM

Not feeling the red steering wheel but the rest isn't too bad.

sluk 02-25-2007 08:02 PM

Odd mix of SWB hood, Ruf style bumpers, 3.3 turbo tail, 964 mirrors, resprayed linen colored interior, chrome RD wheels. A lot of different time periods mixed together.

TI agree with you that the exterior paint work and color look good.

Here's some of the things I don't like:

The disturbing, jolting, and mismatched mix of old and new.
The obviously spraypainted interior.
The wood steering wheel.
The PepBoys Boy Racer pedals.
The blinged out wheels.
The chromed intake slats.
The color.
The fact that it's a '72, but the cool oil filler door is gone.

Other than that, it's not bad.

How about the fact that the fender lips aren't rolled and you can see why you roll the lips when putting bigger tires on it. What a waste of a 72, it would have looked so much better as a RS or RSR:eek:

Jays72T 02-25-2007 09:52 PM

That's sad, I justhope it was made from a rusted or wrecked car.

Leland Pate 02-26-2007 04:44 AM

It was going good... until I scrolled down. :(

VaSteve 02-26-2007 05:32 AM

I like Foreign Coach Works, they are a "broker" and that's where I found my Targa. Most of the cars they have a really cool...that is an exception. Yuk.

Porsche-O-Phile 02-26-2007 06:26 AM

Puke.

What a waste of a perfectly nice 911.

masraum 02-26-2007 07:32 AM

Yeah, the spray painted dash is horrible. I'm not big on chrome wheels, and the chrome slats aren't doing it for me. If it had the original dash/pedals without the white gauge faces and better wheels and was just a weird widebodied early car it would probably be OK.

The color is good, I can live with the body, and could probably even live with the slant nose style rear intakes.

azasadny 02-26-2007 11:05 AM

I've seen much worse.

pmajka 02-26-2007 11:28 AM

Love everying but the pedals and the Steering wheel.

reminds me of my car (less chrome and painted interior and being 15 years newer and ....)

How much would it cost to make it stop sucking?

kach22i 02-26-2007 01:18 PM

How come Porsches just don't typically stand up well to customization?

I want to like it, I like some things about it..................it's like fake boobs, fake hair, bad makeup on an otherwise hot old gal............very sad.

Not a MILF.

Zef 02-26-2007 02:15 PM

Beautiful color...that's it...!

thamlin000 02-26-2007 05:41 PM

Neat car minus the interior, chrome wheels, rear reflector and whale tail. Nice blend of new and old.

Very good analogy--I've never been able to put my finger on why I can't stand tarted up Porsches--especially wheels.
