1992 Ford F-350 Brake question?
My tow vehicle's brakes are a bit mushy and almost go to the floor. The fluid looks dirty. I realize its most likely the master cylinder and dirty fluid. The Pads and shoes are fine.
How much should I expect to pay for this work?

Master cylinder list is ~$225
Replacement pays 1hr, including bleeding the brakes.Looks like an easy job. My only concern would be frozen/rusted fittings. |

I bleed the brakes on my 2000 F350 yearly since they get a pretty good workout with the 34 foot trailer. I use my pressure bleeder, same as I use on the race car, just differnt fluid. I would try a good bleed first and then a M/C replacement if necessary.
