New wheels for LenDaddy's old A6 Turbo!

Horrible pics, but I finally got around to upgrading the A6 with some bigger wheels and tires. The A6 Biturbo has extra large front rotors, so wheel selection is somewhat limited, but I got a great deal on these 18 x 8.5 RS4 replicas (the old ones were 16").
They really make the car look different and the 235/40/18's make the car feel a bit sportier now I still need to order the proper hubcaps from Audi yet.

I think I may have to lower it a bit now to finish it off, but it sure looks different now doesn't LenDaddy?

I am thinking about some HR sport springs and new shocks, but I do not want any extremes, just 1"-1.5" lower. It is solely my wifes daily driver.
It had a slight shimmy that ended up being either a bent wheel or a seperated belt in a tire. I told the wife that we would just HAVE to buy new wheels and tires to fix it.

She just does not quite understand the fact that these are HER christmas presents.

Definitely looks better, but any car does w/ larger diameter rims. (To a point). The automakers of the world figured out long ago that it is as easy as putting bigger wheels on a car to make it look more expensive, or like a higher-end model. It works every time, and your car looks better.

Just spent a good chunk of my Easter weekend installing an Eibach pro suspension kit to the old Audi and I must say it looks much better and drives like a sports sedan as opposed to a lincoln town car now. It sits about 1.5" lower and the new wheels finally look right.

I am starting to like this car Lendaddy, let me know if you tire of any more cars and are looking to make a poor non-union fellow pelican a good deal

Looks great Tim, but I'm afraid I've sold all my good toys. Can I interest you in a Vanagon Campmobile?

I'm way too damn fat to even ride the bastid(the plan was to be 60lbs lighter by now but life sucking changed my plans a bit), so yea that's for sale too. If you're really interested I'll even deliver it.
