used motorcycle...value?

1982 yamaha seca 650 turbo with about 19k miles..haven't run it in 10 years so seals have been leaking a long time..i.e. needs a rebuild really to drive it. have all the fairings in fair condition. no rust. a friend and his friend are looking for a bike to fix up. any idea what it's worth? tempted to say $100 and come get it outa my driveway! but just wanna make sure it isn't valued higher because maybe not so many out there..

Email "fingpilot" and ask him. Michael knows a lot about bikes and should be able to give you a better idea.

Hey there! I see these in LaLaLand from time to time. Running in usual shape, a thou. Good looking one recently went $1700. A ratty looking non-runner one hung there for a month or two at $750.

fing, what would you sell one described like mine to someone you know (not a regular buddy) and his friend for do you think? do you think it would easily bring $5-600 on someplace like e-bay? i'd be happy with half of that just to have the space in my carport back.

like to sell this baby today..anybody else wanna value it?

Joeaksa 04-22-2007 09:08 AM

Ryan,

If you want to sell it fast, put it on CraigsList in LR.

Set a price and stand on it...

There are 2 listed on cycletrader: one for $2K, and the other for $2400.
