Question S&W 22A - anyone got one?

Hopefully this tread title is cryptic enough to keep the anti-gun crowd away

Local sporting goods store has these on sale for $200 looks like a fun little cheap plinker, I presume from the name it's a .22.

Anyone have one of these or played with one?

THIS IS *NOT* FOR DEFENSE PURPOSES!!!

Strictly for paper punching at the local indoor range.

TIA

It looks like a more modern version of the High Standard Victor.

Have one my son likes to shoot as it has a red-dot scope mounted. Out range has a rack of steel plate targets, you can't miss with it. No Victor but a nice feeling gun. I prefer the feel over the Ruger .22's, but a long way from a S&W 41 (pricewise also). Plink away.

Hey, you could use that for defense. You just need to make sure you ask the attacker to stand perfectly still while you unload the entire clip into him.
