Just shoot him - its the easy way out. Make sure there are no witnesses and that you wipe your fingerprints of the bullets and the gun - I saw that on a movie last night, seemed to work just fine.

Steve

For the same reason I'll call my insur. co. and add the bike to the policy before I pick it up and why I'll get a temp. trip permit from DMV for the ride home. Also for the same reason I wear a seat belt in a car and a helmet on a bike.

Denis, I've checked a sidearm in my luggage a few times when I was flying somewhere and then going somewhere very remote in a rental or borrowed car. Never been a problem. I even got stopped by the Border Patrol in NM with my .45 in my cup holder. Agent saw it and didn't care at all, just wanted to question my Chinese gf.

I'll email the bike seller about this in a few minutes. I've spoken with him by phone or email just about every day for the last two weeks. Doesn't feel like he's a stranger at all. I was going to fly to Louisville, where he works now, and ride back to NC with him. He's very cool. I just want to be totally upfront about it. Hell, maybe he'll tell me to bring a bunch of ammo and we can shoot beer cans in his yard Sat. night.

Damn right. Except for 'coon hunting... it doesnt get any better than that on a Saturday night.

Don't let these liberal pu$$ies get to you. First they start to question your smarts on when to carry... next thing they are saying you don't know when to properly use it on somebody.

FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS.

If the gun is in the cup holder, where do you keep the blow?

That had me laughing outloud. And I am not saying a word...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Bus station locker if he objects to you packing. Me? Any guy with a concealed carry permit can stay here...why not? Means there would be two guns if the bad guys crash in...:)

(edit) If enough time, I'd invite him to my gun club for a little plinking...

I almost agreed with this...except a man's home is his castle. He should have absolute rule over what enters...and leaves.

Seller just wrote back and said no problem at all and he'd like to go shooting with me, but probably won't have time.

pwd72s 05-01-2007 06:22 PM

Rick, "You done good". That's an Oregon logger phrase meaning...well, "you done good!" :)
