Nota,
Are you able to get on Joost TV? Still having problems getting the server to shake hands, while my slingbox is working fine, so my HS internet connection is working fine. Just curious as the Joost blog is showing that others are having issues getting connected as well. joe

Joe is going to hook me up then I'll get the next two guys on the list. They'll get the next 4. Then we'll get 8, 16, 32 etc... Should be PLENTY to go around in very short order.
Just make sure you post who you are inviting before you do it so we don't double invite.

Ok, Joost.com is back up and working this morning.
They posted a notice that so many people are signing up that the servers got overloaded. SeaHawk and Stomachmonkey have now been invited. Spread it around! Joe A

One more thing. Once you two get signed up on Joost, then you log onto the system.
For some reason it keeps asking for my name, email and birthday. Could be a beta issue (all of this is "beta" now) but we are in on the early stage which is good. To invite a new guest, get logged in and on the first window you will get a set of icons. One on the right side says "My Joost" and click on that and it will pop up a new window asking if you want to invite someone. You provide a first and last name, and email then click "invite" and you are done. Takes a bit of looking for to find but easy afterward you do it once. Also it did not say that I had a 3 person limit but did not want to invite three people then find out that I am out as I want to save one "invite" for a friend. Have fun...

Scott,
This is the way of the future. Thats why I really wanted to get in on it now. Some limitations guys. It will work ONLY on Windows XP with the service pack 2, or Mac computers. Will not work on W2000 or earlier OS's. Nothing out for Linux yet but it will happen. Agree and the quality is very good on my laptop screen, almost HD quality. For those of us who travel, this is a God-send, being able to get our television anywhere in the world, anytime. Have you seen the auto stuff and the 911 clips yet? Very nice videos... Joe

I'm in the office now running on a 22 in Flat and it still looks good. May plug into my 67 in at home tonight just to see.
I have an HD tuner for my laptop for travel but it's spotty reception. Works great when it works but does not always work. This is better. I was pleased to see the Mac client This may be yet another reason for me to get an iTV. Rick, Check your mail. Invite sent. Scott
