Why would you put this in a car for sale ad???

If it were "Human Resource Coordinator" Owned and operated, I'd have bought it already

For the same reason you would put "Kept garaged at all times at an Eastside Equestrian Estate ..." or "Recent Ferrari Testarossa purchase creates lack of garage space."

But, when you declare, "Many calls so far.... this shouldn't last long..." (almost a year ago) it's almost like saying, "Mission accomplished."

Gosh, from what I gather from the ad, an attorney owns the car.

Weird ad, but pretty badass-looking for a white car.

Maybe.

I'm thinking, that they would of sued a shop in a heatbeat if any work done was not 100% right. At least that's what I think they want me to think.

I can also read it like: if the car has a problem, good luck trying to sue an attorney...

And at first, it was a TR that was the reason for the sale. Now it's a Lambo acquisition necessitating the sale.

If they'd dyno'd it, why not post the dyno, or at least reference the results?

+1

The only thing worse would be selling a car to an attorney. I had a g/f who was a lawyer. She bought a 5 year-old Chevy dualie from a guy, and a month later the trans went out. She actually hauled his ass into court for it. Even more amazingly, she won.

That was my thought too!

My experience has always been that if there is no price clearly listed on something being offered for sale, either the seller really is not serious about selling (he's "testing" the waters looking for offers), or the item is over-priced.

"99.99% "street coddled" freeway mileage."

Then why the race harness?

There is an interesting thread going on over on the 911 bbs right now about cars owned by attorneys . It will probably get moved over here soon.

My own link didn't work.

Wicked setup, all of the finest professional maintenance, finest parts, full RSR factory suspenison creates indescribable handling, Fordahl, Fikse. Fresh dyno sheet confirms tremendous and usable power. 99.99% "street coddled" freeway mileage.
So what is the point of setting up a car like that for street coddled freeway mileage ?

Nice looking car though.
