Escort 9500 question
 

Can Escort 9500 be hidden from sight and still work or would this screw-up the GPS?

GPS and radar or microwave signals should not interfear with each other.

Valentine One has a "remote" kit that does this so that the detector is not seen, but not sure about Passport. Might look on their website and check.

The owner's manual for the 9500i says for there to be open windshield above the unit for it to obtain the GPS signal.

According to Escort it has a built in GPS system that you can program warnings of locations know for traps or program out locations of false warnings.
I was just wondering if anybody has one and if installed out of sight, would this feature still work. Otherwise I might as well get the V1.
Both have remote displays, but the Escort is supposed to have better filters.

I doubt Escort offers a remote GPS sensor, but you might want to call them to confirm.

Just called them, Escort has to be on the dash or attached to the window. No remote sensors.
