I recall reading that the Japanese wouldn't invade mainland U.S. since they knew the majority of homes had firearms.
My gun control is getting better the more I go to the range, but I am pulling to the left and down a bit with my Glock23. *shrug*

Seric, it might be best to invest in some nice adjustable trijicon night sites, or maybe even Crimson trace laser grips.

Seric - check this chart out. Its for a rightie, so if you are a southpaw flip the left/right stuff (vertical still applies)
