Spurs Vs Cavs

One hour to go... quick, who do you like to win?

and please no whining about how pro sports suck... if you don't like it change the channel or turn off the TV.

Cav's are on fire! I was at Saturday night game with my wife and son and it was unreal. I've never been to an event where the crowd was so involved. Clearly they are at an alltime high, but they need to stay there to win. SA is a very good team and the series should be a good one.

I watched my first NBA game (since MJ retired) last night. I wanted to check out Lebron (I'm sure he's the real deal), but am also a Tim Duncan fan (since watching him play at Wake Forest). I think Lebron entered the wrong classroom...he enrolled in "Dunkin' 101", but took a class in "Duncan 101" instead . Yep, Spurs in four...

I didn't know either until a buddy reminded me that Duncan was playing (we go to see Wake games together). That one game reminded me why I don't watch anymore...

IMHO bunch of thugs and wannabee gangsters who get paid way too much money. AI used to live about a mile and a half form me before he got traded. I used to see him and his "crew" at the local wawa ( 7/11 type place) in the mornings as his crew went in and got what he needed.

There was a day when the NBA was worth watching but IMHO thats long gone. Kobe went to the high school right around the corner and he had the bigger then life attitude then too.

Mo Cheeks lives right behind me and he's a really nice guy.

LeBron is a great player, but even most Bball fans have a hard time naming another player on that team.

They got past Detroit because Detroit plays no defense. They can't get past the Spurs because the Spurs play the best defense in the league.

+1, team sport, takes more than a forward and a center to beat a team that is experienced, talented and deeeeep. Will be nice to see Finley finally win a ring. He can stick it on his middle finger and show it to Mark Cuban.

Detroit plays no defense?

If I had tv I'd watch some of the series, Tony Parker is atypical for the NBA. Still have some Spur goodwill leftover from the David Robinson era. Not many roundball players that meshed like Duncan and him.
