I can't tell what's different about it. Maybe just the "auto g-spot" logo?

Sorry - I can't see a difference, either. Is the Boxster at least more powerful?

wait saw something else new! check out the side mirrors...ala carrera gt...997...and now boxster. I guess expect the cayman to get them also. And the rims don't appear to be standard 997 's' rims. Look somewhat different.

Looking and comparing the Cayman, somehow I thought the Boxster also had the side vent scallop line.

The front air intake is more round and elliptical in the new car.

Looks like the only (visual) changes will be: updated front/rear bumper treatments, LED driving/tail lights, intakes painted black instead of gray, and a few changes in standard/optional colors. There is also talk of a special edition, which will come in GT3RS orange.

As a boxster owner, I enjoy getting grief from the air cooled jarheads about how its a 'chicks' car. It makes that moment when they first drive it and say, "Holy *****!, this thing rocks!" all the more enjoyable.

There's a 2000 Boxster on local CL for $15K and it's EXACTLY the car I would buy if I could. Not only is it black and camel, but the owner just picked up a 997. Car is mint, never driven hard, all service done by local dealership, etc. a real creampuff. but I don't think he'll hold it until September
