Mopar Graveyard

My brother and went to the old hood (South-end Dearborn/Rouge Plant) for some Arabic coffee and food, ended up cruising the adjacent areas (Detroit & Melvindale) and found a Mopar graveyard across the street to some property our grandmother owned (lost to back taxes long ago).

I didn't take any pictures of our ride down John Kronk which runs adjacent to Patton Park, not a Porsche friendy road, lots of scrap metal places too. It would make a great movie location for some end of world scenes. If anyone has their CCW and 4WD I'd love to go back there with my camera again.;)

More than just Mopar, makes a great title for a thread though.:)

Pretty cool. That GTX and Camaro look workable. The Cuda looks pretty well scavenged.

Amazing what you can find off of the beaten path.

George,

You should have called me, I would have taken you and your brother to Cedarland in Dearborn for some excellent Arabic food!

Pontoon

That cuda, if a real AAR car, is worth restoring. Produced for only 1/2 of the 1970 production year, with total street production of 2,724.

Just as true as what they say about Porsche owners.

Buddy of mine sold a '67 hemi Belvedere like that white one(same color even) with no motor and the transmission in the trunk for $30K about a year ago

Id kill for that AAR Cuda. ( or my old 340 Duster, Roadrunner, Dart, and Charger that I sold.)
The Dan Gurney AAR Cuda is one of the rarest cars out there. That body as it is is would fetch some some nice $$

Truth is, those "old parts and rust" are worth more $ than half the P-cars on this board.
