I do miss surfing

I took my kids on a road trip for a couple of weeks and one of our stops was Del Mar to visit some old friends. My friend Skip had an extra long board so I got to surf dawn patrol with him a few mornings. I have only surfed mabe 4 times in the last 20 years. I had never surfed a long board before and it sure made small waves alot of fun. The water temp was 73. Surfing and a few friends are the only thing I really miss in So Cal.

I've never surfed. I've skiied on snow, water, whatever. But I've never surfed. I've always wanted to. It looks like a BLAST. I guess at nearly fifty years old, I should consider formulating plans.

Grew up surfing and kayaking...water is the best element I know for expression, whatever the skill level.

I still get out once a year during summer vacation...the first few days are always the surfing version of a yard sale.

Seahawk,
I agree with water as a great form for expression. I use to build surf boards and my logo was Pure Expressions.
