Improper dress for Flying?

What is so outrageous about a college student, dressed like this?

I see much worse at the mall??

Southwest Airlines told her she was not able to fly, then relented? Crazy!
Or perhaps the Southwest guy was GAY!

Porsche-O-Phile 09-07-2007 06:43 AM

Is this a trick question? What's the problem here?

Mo_Gearhead 09-07-2007 06:53 AM

No trick.

Just saw her on the Today Show. She's just about making a fed. case of it now. Flying is the most undignified thing people can do anymore. Such idiots all around. No, she should not have been harassed about her attire. But is this really worthy of a tv show? I saw cops come onto a plane I was on and hog tie and drag off a drunk guy. Never made it onto the news at all.

I'm waiting for the You Tube version where she does her Sharon Stone impression.

What they didn't say was that she wasn't wearing any underwear. There was a few 'older' women complaining and a few guys really staring at her. The attendent felt that she may present a distraction and possibily a flight risk.

I bet there was a Pilot that was into it but his Flight Attendent "friend" got her panties in a wad over his attention to her and she decided to try to take care of the problem...

But it would make my flight if not may entire month if I got a chance just to sit next to her for a 4 hour flight!

I see absolutley nothing wrong with how she is dressed...

A few guys staring at an attractive woman with no underwear? Really?!:D

Why don't I ever end up on those flights?

onewhippedpuppy 09-07-2007 07:03 AM

I'm not even going to ask why you were visiting that website........

Mo_Gearhead 09-07-2007 07:06 AM

LOL...I had to Google a quick 'opposing view'. Forgive me!

Porsche-O-Phile 09-07-2007 07:06 AM

Southwest airlines. Why am I not surprised. They're the bottom-of-the-barrel as far as customer service and general quality of experience. You get what you pay for. I'm done flying with them and have been for some time. Dumb jokes by flight attendants do not substitute for "customer service".

rouxroux 09-07-2007 07:16 AM

Sounds like the customer service rep "Keith" must have been having a "fabulously pithy" (pissy) day

DISCLAIMER: Not that there's anything thing "wrong" with that.;)

Instead of suing the federal government for some kind of (legal) discrimination, mabye she should be thankfull that she wasn't arrested on the spot for indecent exposure.

Is there any difference with her case to some old man exposing his nutsac to the children in front of him?

Rikao4 09-07-2007 07:25 AM

nothing upsets fat women more than a babe with no panties.
want to make me happy....keep fat people of the plane.

People need to lighten up.
What a bunch of repressed old geezers.

Mo_Gearhead 09-07-2007 07:31 AM

Ok, WHERE has it been documented/stated/observed (An eye-witness? Her confession?) that the girl was not wearing under-wear? It's just not true.

When I first heard the story, I assumed she was in some see-thru top without a bra or some slit-to-the-waist skin tight dress with her thong exposed. Nope.

Much ado about NOTHING here!

Exactly. Flying Philly to Boston, they're cheaper than every other airline, cheaper than the train, cheaper than the gas to drive!

Sorry they don't meet your princess-and-the-pea standards, but they are hugely successful based on perfect delivery of what flyers demonstrably (as opposed to web forum chatter) want, which is cheap fares and no frills.

M.D. Holloway 09-07-2007 07:38 AM

One of our employees was on the flight...comando confirmed.

onewhippedpuppy 09-07-2007 07:41 AM

SWA is the first I price. I don't want my ass kissed or a great meal, I just want a cheap flight. For that, they are excellent.

Repressed middle-age geezer here:)
But really, if women can wear anything at all in general-public places, then repeal the sexual-harassment legislation (i.e.:"you looked at me funny and now I want a million dollars"), and bring back the cat-calls. If you're showing then I'm looking. And most importantly the morality laws should apply equally to men and women.

In this case there seems to a patch of grey area, and the book looks open across the table.
