Britainīs got talent !

Amazing. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Look at the reaction of the jury. They were NOT expecting this much talent.

Did bring a tear to my eye. That guy can SING!

And the audience reaction was magic!

Wow, wasn't expecting that.

kach22i 09-18-2007 01:45 PM

Okay, the guy can sing, but did you see the judge Amanda Holden?

That was great! It completely washes away Britney Spears.

onewhippedpuppy 09-18-2007 02:03 PM

Incredible! Simon looked absolutely stunned, and the girl (apparently Amanda Holden) looked borderline orgasm. The crowd reaction was cool too. Looks like he eventually won the entire thing.

Um....wow.

I didn't think singing like that was possible without extensive, expensive voice lessons.

Porsche-O-Phile 09-18-2007 02:17 PM

Too bad a guy with talent like that is languishing away participating on some B.S. reality TV schtick show. He should be singing Broadway someplace.

gatotom 09-18-2007 02:20 PM

very good, I am not a fan of opera but this guy can sing

kinda funny how life works, the greatest tenor of all time passes away last week and this guy gets discovered.

the 09-18-2007 02:35 PM

that was unexpected, it seemed fake at first.

I agree, that gal judge looked like she was feelin the thunder down under during that performance.

I've always wondered about how some people are born with great voices. It has to be some sort of precise configuration of the throat, mouth, lungs, nasal cavaties, larynx etc. I wonder if anyone ever did a study about the configuration of the physiology great singers.

This guy can flat out bring it. I would mix in some orthodontia though.

Or maybe not if there's a chance it could alter his sound.

Oh.....no. I'm a big fan of Pavarotti, as I mentioned in that thread, but he was most certainly not the greatest of all time. Although every recording of Enrico Caruso sounds like it was done over the telephone, nevertheless, it is easy to see why that name is so revered even to this day. Pavarotti could not have carried Caruso's truss.

Well...those who are "behind the ball" obviously aren't spending enough time on PPOT.

widebody911 09-18-2007 03:30 PM

Enrico Palazzo was the greatest of all time.

No one beats Giovanni Jones.
