Thanks guys...Rob hopefully I will be able to make some turns like that in the next year or two, but its going to take a lot more slaloming for that.

Thanks Garrett,
I'm sure you could be a great slalom skier in no time!
Some people say to me that I'm a good skier, I say to them, "if you skied as much as me, you'd be twice as good."

I'm not the best by far, but I have alot of fun.
I host a Sunday AM slalom ski get together all summer long.
We go out and rip it up every Sunday morning.
I'm the oldest guy in the group, but its my boat

Anyway, as you probably noticed in my posts, I also love to teach and water skiing is one of the things I'm good at teaching. I've taught over 100 kids how to ski, including all my own kids.

I taught this boy, Brett, how to get up on skis one day and in two weeks he was slalom skiing and cutting across the wake.

How did I do it?
Ha, ha! I put this girl in the boat everytime he went for a ski:

Bretts in the middle, with his dog and the girl and her brother (outside) were visiting at the same time. Brett would push himself beyond his personal limits when this girl was watching! Best secret to good skiing...... an audience.

Anyway, I can give you some good pointers on Slalom skiing buddy, been at it for almost 40 years now. ;)
Cheers!

Thought that I would update this thread with a few pictures of the progress that we have made. You can see the pics from when we first got the place on the first page. Here are a few pics now that we have had it for two years. After doing some type of project pretty much every weekend for 2 years, we are now "done", at least for a little while. We still need to buy some more furniture and we will hopefully be redoing the kitchen next summer, but it is pretty good for now. Oh, and I don't have a pic of it, but rather than the 27" tube tv in the corner, there is a 46" LCD.

Looks really lovely. Life quality in spades. The lake view must be wonderful. Well done!
