Vacation destinations?
What kind of vacation spots can someone recommend on a budget? I have a passport and been thinking of taking my wife somewhere nice for a little getaway.....

I had a really good time at Couples and Couples Swept away in Negril Jamaica. Cost about 2K. Was all inclusive and adults only.

West coast of Mexico is not expensive...Dominican Republic is a good choice if you have a good stomach...My preffered destination is Cuba...!

Outside of the heavily guarded resorts, Jamaica is a very dangerous country. Some of the other island can be quite cheap. A four day cruise out of Los Angeles or Ft. Lauderdale is about 2 grand, plus airfare.

I would drive up the west coast all the way to Canada. Bed and breakfasts. Take two weeks.

These are some excellent ideas. Keep them coming if there's anything else to add. BTW i didn't know canada could be a vacation spot during the upcoming winter?

Canadian Rockies - very cheap and a great drive from where you are at.
