How not to act in a traffic stop

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5225566.html

This one will take some unraveling to figure out. The paper did all they could to dance around some of the naked guys previous mis-steps with the law.

I am not condoning the Police shooting and do not know all the facts, I have to ask, why was the man naked and why was he disobeying police orders?

Why did the taser not work on him?

Why did he stop and confront the cop? Why not drive on his happy way and not mess with the cop at all?

Suicide by police?

Prior bad acts are a good indicator of someone's potential to commit future bad acts but are not necessarily relevant in this situation.

Prior history of mental health issues could be enlightening.

Victims prior history of drug charges makes you want to hear the toxology report.

I think more info is needed.

On a lighter note Chris Rock has some advice worth repeating.

Chris Rock, Bill Cosby, Barack Obama

vs

Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson

(draw your own conclusions)

I think you put Obama on the wrong side.

He may talk about personal responsibility--but only while pushing a social program to fix the "problem". He is a master of doublespeak.

Activist Quanell X said he had talked to an eyewitness whose account of the incident differed from that of police.
Isn't that step 1 in the victim handbook? Dispute the official story?

Step 2 is to get Jesse Jackson on the scene. (I'd love to see him in Texas. )

Step 3 is to sue.

I wasn't there, but I have a hard time believing the "eye-witness's" story. And as far fetched as it sounds, I'm more inclined to believe the police report. Unfortunately at this point we will probably never know.
