Fantasy Football problem
I'm in a 10-team league that allows a max. of 15 transactions (trades, add/drops) per team for the season. For whatever reason, there is no IR, but everyone has to deal with that.
5 weeks in, and two teams have already used 13 transactions. One of these guys wants to up the transaction count to 20. That's obviously unfair, with which our commissioner agrees, but the commish still puts this issue to a vote. That makes no sense to me. And worse, a majority of the teams support the increase! Am I missing something here? I'm pretty pissed that the commish didn't kill this issue the moment it was brought up. All my roster changes (and non-moves) have been done with the current transaction limit in mind. I'm pretty much planning to quit this league. Any one agree, or think I'm the one who's misguided here?

This should have been tabled till the off season. You are being penalized for considering the rules. I'd make a stink.

In my league we get 4 transactions free, and every one after that is $4.
Im up to 8 total as my team has been decimated by injury. Bottom line: no changing the rules in the season. Gotta play the hand that you were dealt with. |
