Which all-inclusive resort for family vacation?

Hello all, time to start thinking about our family Spring vacation.

We're thinking that an all inclusive trip would be nice, especially with 2 kids ages 5 and 7.

We want to be on the beach, have kids activities, booze included, etc...

Where have folks stayed and what do you recommend?

Thanks for the suggestions.

-Brad

Try a Disney Cruise.

I went on one last month and it was great.

Disney cruise was great, but plan on spending alot more for booze, kids drinks, tips and excursions.

Look at Beaches Resorts.

This guy is my neighbor in my office building and a really cool guy. He seems to do well and I am sure he is fair as he has tons of repeat customers.

He does more locations besides cancun.

Club Med in Guadeloupe is like a French enclave with direct flights to France. Was about 20% US when I was there. They take kids at around 8am to all day activities. Part of it is rehearsing for a kids performed event at end of package.

I was hanging with a real KGB business agent at dinner. The Lithuanian patron
hated all USSR. What a trip. He said that real USSR elites always keep their little black books as the break-up will not last. This all happened 2yrs after fall of USSR.

Anyway good for kids, nice adult fare, nice variety of beaches close by, nice shopping in a town a nice bus ride away, and it's a heathy looking island with wildlife.

It's more of a Euro flare than US.

Hi Brad:

We loved club med in Ixtapa but we went shortly after 9/11 when they had very good rates to get people to travel again. Have not seen any great deals since then. But is was one of our best vacations ever.

Take care, Harold

Beaches - Turks and Caicos. It was fantastic. Stay in the rooms by the beach, not in the French Quarter. Excellent food, everything included including scuba, beautiful grouds. A terrific place.

if SCUBA is an option do it now at a good place as Carib sites are getting beat up real fast.

My family and I really enjoyed the Disney Cruise too; get the best room that you can though; its worth the extra money. As for all inclusive; we don't drink much, so it didn't bother us; but eat? Ah, we eat!

If you're planning on Disneyland, shoot me a PM. I might be able to get you some perks.

My buddy went to Playa del Carmen, southern Gulf of Mexico. He said it was great, some eco tourism park deal was included where you float through the rain forest or something. Ancient ruins(Mayan maybe?) a show where the play some game where the losing team is sacrificed at the end. Well not anymore, because they are doing it for the tourists more than the God of War, or whatever deity it was.

Wow all! Thanks for all of these ideas!

I checked on the Turks & Caicos option, but they are already sold out, unless I want to pay 11K

I appreciate all of the feedback and offers for assistance!

If you don't care that much where you go, check into some of these last minute deals. There are vendors that specialize in reselling package deals that people flaked out on, cruises, stuff like you are looking at.
