Secrets Revealed
The outing of Valerie Plame by the Cheney Apparatus in the Bush Administration was to serve several purposes.
1. As a warning to others not to stand in the way or criticise Administration policy's. Or risk the wrath of Office... 2. As revenge on someone who did stand in the way of the Administration and its stated agenda. However what it revealed about Mr VP was that he is a narrow minded vindictive person who really should have known better by taking a longer view of the matter. Mr VP probably thought he was nipping the problem of leaks that might stand in the way of the stated agenda of the Bush Administration. What he did do in fact was act impulsively in the matter, which in the long run convicted an Aide of his and undermine the credibility of the Administration. In other words he brought harm to the man he is supposed to serve. |
What the Neocons seem to lack is a certain finesse. Its not that they don't understand finesse or its uses. Its that they disdain it as being cheap and shoddy..a way of being dishonest which cheapens their own souls through compromises.

TABS - I guess at the end of the day the country is run by men and not much more. Threaten a guy and he will look to defend or run. Guys with a chip or an axe to grind will look to make a serious statement. Mr Veep ain't nobodies fool. Make no mistake he is one smart mudda but he is a guy and will act like one.
Not an excuse, just a simple explaination. The country deserves better but don't expect it anytime soon. Folks attracted to the politix do it for love or power or both. The ones who do it for love are too meek the ones that do it for power are criminals. Good luck finding a balence. |
I think it was all a quid pro quo between Cheney and Plame and her hubby. They made out like bandits and with way more money than they'd ever have earned in two government careers.
