Little did they Chinese know that their proposed "Motorcycle race for your cultural sovereignty" was about to backfire...

We call this meditation exercise "Balls to the Wall".

Buddha, no longer satisfied with being passive, was gonna ****** win the religion race once and for all!

"C'mon guys, get a move on! We've got to get to the airport in time to work the early flights."

The Shaolin Monks were considered the "bad boys" of Tibet.

"so gary hows things going with that christian chick?"
"not so great, her karma ran over my dogma"

How many monks does it take to change a spark plug? Three: one to change the plug, one to understand the karma of changing the plug and one to just hangout and be a pest.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The truth really is stranger than fiction.

It turns out that Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is more than just a stupid book.

If you see the Buddha on the side of the road…help him change the tire

You may be mixing your philosophies a bit but the jist is well received.
I paddled around in the zen pool for a time, riding a motorcycle through the curves would seem to good place to become one with your world.

I thought this was going to be about Novell ZenWorks.

I've tried reading that stupid book for 20 years, I finally threw it in the trash.

red-beard 11-17-2007 07:36 AM

I read it in Highschool, as part of an economics class.

I read the book and liked it... although I'm not sure that is what this post is about.

As a matter of fact I have no fringgin idea what this post is about.

I am suspicious that Isa has been hitting the Chianti ;)... either that or she has been hanging out with Tabs... or maybe both!

growing up, i'd never heard of a koan. just assumed one hand clapping was a far eastern metaphor for wife beating or jerking off.
