Hey if you need a P Car to drive while you're in town this month on tour let me know ( I've got a spare turbo with heat!!) weather permitting of course!

Hope to see you at the concert

oooh...looking forward to mine.

I had to whip out the guitar and play some "Tangerine" last night...

71T Targa 12-13-2007 09:54 AM

Aw Man, did I miss a CD give away?

Gogar 12-13-2007 12:53 PM

phred, (or anyone), if you want, you can go to our website and download the WHOLE THING for free. Or, if you like, we can mail you a hard copy for I think $5.

The original giveaway was a week long but we signed up about 25,000 people in 6 days. The other 500,000 will be in the next month, supported by sponsors and Radio stations in targeted markets.

I got mine in the mail today as well. Looks like the postman decided to give a listen. The seal was broken . Thanks Jeremy and the band!

Wow that is a very generous and interesting marketing strategy Gogar. I hope that it pays off for you in touring, merchandise etc.

Gogar 12-13-2007 02:25 PM

Thanks, 9dreizig. Maybe so, maybe so.

I am going to make a post in a week or so similar to last year's "trade a ride" thread. I'm just waiting for all the midwest and West coast dates to come in before I do it. I hope it will be fun!

kstar 12-13-2007 06:48 PM

Thanks from me, too!

Just got the CD and ripped it to my computer; listening to it now and so far I like "Cruel Fate" a lot. Will listen to the whole album a few times tonight. :D

This one is my fourth album after Midnight Radio, Sister Sweetly and Stratagem.

Thanks again Jeremy!

Best,

Kurt

Hope mine comes in tomorrow!

It would be great to see you out here again. You've got a couple of rides waiting, next time without the snow on the ground. Chris has a fresh John Walker built 3.0 purring away in his SC, and I'm finishing up my own 3.0 MFI motor for my '72.

Gogar 12-13-2007 11:00 PM

That's great, guys. A few West coast dates came in today for the first/second week of April, so it could be fun. Instead of one HOB in LA there's two Troubadors instead.

And I'd love to see High Ridge Road without an inch of snow on it.

I checked your web site and saw that there is already an April date at the Showbox.

Hopefully High Bridge Road is fixed by then. Half of it fell in the river in our recent flooding.

Oh Haha 12-14-2007 01:46 PM

I listen to Mancow and you guys were supposed to be on today but I never heard the segment. Did you get to play?
I was going to call in and give a Pelican reference but had a meeting time changed.

Gogar 12-14-2007 01:58 PM

Oh High BRIDGE road, sorry.

Just Todd was on ManCow this morning. We were on an airplane. I'm kind of interested to see what the hell they talked about as well.

Oh Haha 12-14-2007 02:02 PM

So I would have looked like a total dunba$$ for the Pelican thing. ;)

Oh well.

Jims5543 12-14-2007 05:08 PM

uhhhh. mancow...

I see your in O-Town HOB on 1/16/08. I fully plan on being there and this time bringing my 14 y/o son who refuses to practice his guitar and his teacher is getting frustrated. Any help is appreciated. ;)

I am trying to work out the logistics of bringing up my 500+HP 2500lb "other car" for you to go for the ride of your life in.

I'll have it sorted out by the 16th. I am thinking FJ Cruiser + Car trailer + stay in the Dolphin for the night.

All for you. :D

Thanks for the free CD, even though I run to the mailbox looking for it every day now that I know they are en'route.

Looking forward to seeing you guys soon.

Hey, you're going to be at the HOB 3/28 and 3/29. I should see if we could try again to get a Chicago group...
