They like to throw fake blood on people who wear fur and leather here, around Cristmas. I make damn sure to wear my Buffalo hide biker jacket aorund that time of year. I just tell them as I pass, "I dare Ya"
Havn't had to clean it yet.

Chuck Norris doesn't go hunting. Hunting implies a possibility of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

Edited - pic removed. -Z-man.

Sorry, could never agree to the way these animals are killed. Seals are as smart as dogs, so marine biologists say. I know I couldn't beat a helpless dog to death.

The other female presenter mentioned that "you have to be careful of the PETA nuts when wearing fur" but that their family has eaten the animals and worn the skins for hundreds of years and was going to continue doing so.

That kind of statement might not go over well in America but sure was happy to see it happen over here!

Fuch all those PETA douches; the envirowhackos can bite me too, I got your Earth First! right here.

I always hammer those people when I get into a conversation with them. Modern medicine would not be so modern without the work done on animals over the last few hundred years. Their hypocrisy is pretty profound in my experience.

they would never do that to someone who looks like they would even have the capability to beat them down. I remember about 15 years ago some old lady in SF pressed assault charges on them.

The Peta argument seems to be this:

People are just animals, therefore, people should not eat animals.

How do they feel about hawks, lions, tigers, bears, bats, sharks...and all of the other animals that eat animals?

Seems to be a glaring inconsistency to me.

We just have to re-educate all of the carnivores and show them the error of their ways.

THose that will not be re-educated should be incarcerated.

Normy versus PETA member:

Nicholas Carr, who lives across the canal from me is quite fond of feeding the feral iguanas that plague south Florida.

These are decendants of released pets. These animals grow to 5 feet long, and they are in posession of a mouth full of teeth. What's more their mouths are full of dangerous bacteria, which all means that though they aren't classified as "poisonous", for all intents and purposes they are. For what it is worth, herpetologists treat these the same way that they do rattlesnakes.

Well, the f*cking iguanas have been eating my plants for the past two years that I've lived here. I've killed 48 of them with my cheap Crossman pelet gun [not a good idea: it's too weak] and the live trap that I keep behind the house. I put melon slices in it, and this attracts the pests. The live trap shuts, and I put my new "friend" in the canal for 40 minutes.

-One of my neighbors likes to feed the things. He comes out every evening with a plate of dog food! The lizards come running every night. Since these have litterally done THOUSANDS of dollars worth of damage to the plants behind my house...I've been a bit upset with them.

But when I saw that guy actually FEED them? Hello-? I climbed into my kayak and I paddled across the canal. This guy [Nickolaus] was sitting in a chair; when he saw me he staggered up to his dock. He was DRUNK. He could barely stand. I said hello, and then I asked him to not feed the iguanas anymore, since they were destroying my property.

"It's my property you know, if I want to feed them I can"

Me: "But...these lizards are coming into my yard and they are DESTROYING my plants? All I want you to do is stop feeding the [profanity]. What the hell is your problem?" You'll note I spared no words.

"Well, it's not my problem"

The words of my neighbor. I continued the argument for a few minutes, and during the course of the exchange, I accused him of being a PETA member. To my astonishment...he acknowleged that his is indeed a PETA member!

So now...lets look at this. Iguanas are a non-native invasive species from another region, and what's more...they don't just sit on your dock and look cool...they eat your yard. Two iguanas can eat a bush in a day. Which all means that if they crowd your back yard....in short order you won't have a back yard and the value of your property goes down hard real quick.

PETA member across the canal can't see a problem with that...

ONE week after my run-in with Nick Carr, I decided to again go for a paddle. This time I just wanted to go about a mile away and turn back, primarily for exercise. I put the kayak on my swim platform [I have a house on a canal in Fort Lauderdale, and I have a dock. I built a floating swim platform that sits about 1 inch above the water], and pushed off. Nick was immediately there, with his camera! He recorded a video of me paddling past him. I don't care, he can video what he wants. But when I got back, he litterally ran out of his back porch down to his dock and started to video me. I wanted to ignore him, but in the end I didn't- in fact, I gave that silly stupid bastard the best my mind could come up with! I didn't cuss him much, but I certainly pointed out his folly. And I made a point of paddling my kayak from a point in the middle of the 100 foot wide canal to a point about 3 feet from his pilings.

Well, eventually Mrs.Nick, complete with her utterly fake plastic titties...[I have to admit: I was admiring them...] stormed out the back door and began to admonish me over water. I wasn't interested in anthing like this, so I dismissed her. "I am not even going to talk to you, fish!" and turned around and paddled away. I probably should have mooned them when I climbed my dock, but I didn't.

Guess what? Here comes the Police. That ******* PETA member called the police on me!

The cop was cool, and when I told him the whole story and about how Nick Carr was wasted off his ass, I saw the change in his eyes. I could almost hear his thoughts: "Mmm Hmm." The cop, named David, turned his car around and spent some time over at Nicks house. I told him the whole story, and I understand, after talking to the neighbors, that the Pillsbury Dough Boy [aka Nick] was told that 1. He should NOT feed the iguanas, and 2. If he had a problem with me, then he needs to call the police. But so far, from what the police had seen from his video, I was in the right and he was in the wrong and they threatened to take him to jail if he continued to harass me!

Since then, I have continued to paddle my kayak in the canal. And I do it in what most would consider "his waters", the waters just off of his dock, although I have to say that I am just tansiting and don't spend time there.

Also, I bought a live trap and I set it on the dock where he and his plastic tit fish can see it plain. I bait it with melon, and occasionally it catches a big iguana. I put him in the canal for 45 minutes, and that solves the problem.

PETA is garbage. Those people don't deal in reason. The only way to handle them is to find ways to get them sent to prison. Bars are all they understand.

ok, here is my take. PETA is on one extreme side of the debate. in a tiny way, i think they are necessary. ok, hear me out. i hunt, fish, stomp on black widows, and consider it sport when i toss a live crab into my steamer. as a hunter, i have certain responsibilities. like doing it humanly, using razorsharp broadheads, practicing religiously with my bow, so i can make a good humane shot,,,etc. but not all "hunters" feel the way i do. there are some real idiots out there that make hunters look really bad. i have read threads where guys shoot possums out of their backyards for live animal practice. i consider some of these guys the other extreme side of the debate. they keep each other in "checks and balances". the trick is to be somewhere in the middle.

PETA is a necessary organization. I just want them and all their members's faces dragged through feces on a daily basis. And I want it to get into their mouth too.

PETA is an extremist organization that supports domestic terrorism. There is no need or justification for an organization like that ever.
It should be outlawed and all registered members should be put on a terrorist watch-list.
