Do "smartphones" get viruses?

I've had mine for a while and I never really thought of this. Mine is windows mobile 6 and I can surf the web just like a PC...so can I get infected too?

Of course you can get a virus, bot or trojan. Palm based phones are safer, but not perfectly secure either. Iphones are better than Windows OS, but still more vunerable than the Palm based phones.

Interesting, what is the "cure"? I've never seen virus "software" for windows mobile.

Several clients are available and more are coming. I'm sure MS will give it a swing too, but right now 3rd party is where it's at for mobility security.

A good friend of mine heads up SMobile Systems http://www.smobilesystems.com/homepage/home.jsp ...and yes it is a threat. Check out his video and look into his offerings for protection.
