going to be spending next week in north palm beach with some relatives 1/19-1/26, 2008
what should i expect?
what is there to do?
will be playing golf some but what else is in the area worth seeing?


might have access to their 2nd MINI, so might be mobile for some short trips.

they will putting this car up for sale so if someone is in the market i will see if i can find the add when they decide to post one.

Head over to Singer Island on Thursday evening for the 'sunset party'. There is always a large turn out with great views of the inter-coastal, beautiful women, plenty of beer vendors and lots of beautiful boats! Get there before sunset and expect a large crowd if the weather is nice! Another great place is the Waterway Restaurant with a floating bar on the inter-coastal beside the draw bridge! Moroso Raceway is close and may have some racing going on. Best place to eat seafood is Captain Charlies! Two locations and both are GREAT!!

Lost of stuff to do there - there's a beach - it's been pretty warm in florida this winter and with wheels lots of options. South Beach? Kennedy Space Center? too bad you'll miss a launch - quite an experience from the east coast

PCA Autocross at Moroso on Sunday the 20th.

I'll be there with my RX7 feel free to come by and go for a mind bending ride.



Dune Dog Drive in is a great place for ribs and great bear, on Alt A-1-A just north of Indiantown road.


I know its hoaky but I like the Downtown area of the Gardens Mall, it is what Florida is about, all outdoors and great eats from Sushi to Mexican to my favorite, The Yard house over 100 beers on tap the the Steak Sandwich is my new favorite.

Downtown West Palm is the Norton Museum on Art, which is very good.

Or go the Henry Flaglers old house and see the museum set up in his honor. Realize he died falling down his own staircase.

Nearby is City Place a downtown area that used to be a crack ghetto just 10 years ago. Its amazing what happens when you bulldoze and throw millions at an area.

Go to Clematis Street for the nightlife if your up to it, be prepared to party until 5 in the morning. Monkey Club is a must do.
