2008 Sucks
 

My wife's father has terminal cancer, 3 months to live.
My 52 year sister cathy passed away last Monday from complications from emergency surgery.

Just last Friday the wife and I were visiting my sisters grave, some scum-bag stole her purse and everything in it from our car. This is really nice cementery in Newport Beach, ca. I talked to the Director who has been working there 12 years.
This has never happened before

Man sorry this had to happen to you. I lost both my mother and father last year along with my brother in law who was a good guy. Somehow you just get through it. Stay level and don't go off the end. It will get better.

No kidding. I good friend of mine lost his girlfriend (she died), whom he was going to ask to marry him this summer. Sad.

my condolences for the loss of your sister..best to your wife in handling her dad's illness..it's excruciating to watch someone you love die slowly.

I agree. Can I backdate 2008 to 2007 like people backdate Vista to XP?

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Pretty much nothing great this year so far.

I feel for you and am sorry for your loss. I'm going through it now too.
