San Diego - need recommendation for a good BMW mechanic
My buddy has a late 90's 528i and is looking for a good, reliable, honest independent mechanic. If you have a name, please fire it up in a response here.
Thanks in advance.

I took my 911 and now my Audi TT to All German Auto/. They are in Escondido, about 30 miles North of SD, they are somewhat pricey, but they do good work.

Pricey isn't going to cut it. I think he's looking for the crafty old BMW wrench with the pile of used parts in his shop kinda guy. In other words, if they wear rubber gloves when working on cars, that's not the place he's looking for.
