This past weekend they re-played the series "cars that made America".
They were showing John Delorean and on the wall in his office above his head was a cross-section of a Porsche 914. Didn't notice that before.

Took a ride on the Tail of the Dragon. Saw this at Deal's Gap:
  The bike gave me a flashback from Easy Rider. Also saw a real Cobra. I've seen many kits and this was the real deal! It had the usual paint chips in the front like any DD. I told the guy I was amazed that he would take it on the street. He just shrugged and said he bought it to drive. I snapped a few pics but the card crapped out on me and I lost those.
