The ship in the middle of the formation was a pioneer for the AEGIS Weapon System, and nuclear powered! I was part of the battle group that sailed with the USS Virginia to Desert shield / Desert Storm.

![]() I wished I had more time to explore, or even locate and visit Scale Composites. But alas, I had my father in tow and the 1700 mile trip in three days had him fatigued out. Five new crispy tires for the trailer. They were aged out and we were losing pieces of them along with broken valve stems. An unplanned expense and time delay. ![]() Him supervising the install... ![]() Goodyear AZ ![]() One stop in Barstow Final in Bakersfield ![]() Now he is looking at selling the trailer.

It did make a giant mess in the adjacent field. Not unexpected with a pressurized aircraft and explosive material. Guess who got to scour the debris for aircraft bits for damage documentation?

Then and now: Split-screen video shows how car production has changed in 50 years Apr. 05, 2019 - 1:07 - A new video released by SEAT's Martorell factory near Barcelona, Spain, gives a fascinating look at the evolution of car manufacturing over the past 50 years. As the split-screen video shows, jobs that used to be done by hand are now streamlined, with most of the heavy-lifting left to a team of 2,000 robots. The video was released to commemorate SEAT's next leap forward in auto manufacturing, as the plant begins production on electric vehicles.
