The thing about firing orders is that depending on the manufacturer, the cylinders are numbered either in sequence or alternating between banks, so it adds to some confusion:

Here's an article explaining firing orders and equivalents:

https://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tech/engine/firing-order-swaps-whats-best-for-your-engine/

Then there's the question of V10s, and I wonder what crank configurations differ between let's say the Audi V10 and the Porsche V10(which sounds much nicer)

That was my first car but a hardtop. Technically they called it a hardtop convertible because it had no b pillars and if you rolled down the front and rear windows the whole side was open.
Mine was white with a 289 and it had been converted from an auto to a three speed on the floor. I put a Hurst T Bar shifter on it and thought it was badass.
It had dual glass packs, Fenton mags, traction bars on the rear, and a crappy stereo. Hey, I was poor
I miss that car for some weird reason and I’ve been looking for another one for years but they’re hard to find. Guess not a lot of them survived

This thing is sweet and it reminds me how we never really outgrow our youth.
Thanks for the memory

Never mind. I think it’s a A6GCS/53 Berlinetta. I’ve seen them before but the silver with the black wire wheels and no trim or bumpers really does it for me

Remember that online program that was on some website (Samba?) that let you put together different Porsches and VWs (even buses) and set it up with different wheels, driving lights, racing numbers, stickers, and set the stance? I made these with that... lots of years ago.

If you know the site or link, please post it.

Yes that was awesome! I always wondered what happened to that site. That was like 15 years ago, I saw it last.

I just found it with 5 minutes of creative searching, but it's flagged as a security risk by Firefox:

https://www.busselecta.com/

I found it first here: https://www.vwcamperblog.com/article/weekend-project-design-a-vw-bus/

Thought I'd give it a try from the link on their site because I didn't get any warnings... BRG, anyone?
