They were a magnesium block like the later 2.7L right?

Speeds listed are also much faster than I expected, even for an "S".
Aluminum case but also aluminum wheels not magnesium.

Oh, how didn't I see that?

I looked at the Jan 1 1970 date and it stuck in my head I guess.

Still I did not know that 1966-67 and early 1968 were aluminum block.
