So weird to stumble across this post. I've driven that actual car - it has a sideways "H" shift pattern that was REALLY hard to grasp at first. It belongs to a neighbor of mine who restored it. Built for the Australian market - one of very few with an actual door.

My then 16 year old daughter in another of his Gogomobiles.




Before the concours, parked overnight in my garage. That car is TINY - it's dwarfed by our old GL SUV.





PS - have you noticed that the air-duct for the engine cooling fan matches the Gogomobile logo/badge?

Battle ship Texas is on the move again. Heading from Houston to Galveston for much needed dry dock repairs.



21 October 1989, the last time it was in dry dock in Galveston. Looks kind of small compared to the big red tanker on the left.

I use to know the guy who owned it , I hadn't seen him since the 80s. He owned a few of them. I swear he is the one that the Burt Reynolds character in Show Girls was based on.


He served as the Mayor of from 1972 until he retired and hosted a lot of. Interesting parties.

He had airstrip in his backyard and politicians from all over would "visit ", everyday, 3 different shifts of women would be there
