It was on an old Florida Facebook page, the lady in the passenger seat was the Posters mother, while she was in high, the others were classmates.

Funny that you would mention this. A few years back I chatted with a VW rep and he told me that from the chopped roof new bug, was going to be a rear engined modern version that was sure to be fun. Never happened, why? Because some genus said their diesel vw's were clean as a wistle, that killed everything when the green-meanie bull dogs got ahold of vw...now they are useless lectric. Way to go vw!
