Whimsical photo posted on Facebook page for attendees of August Jam (1974) at Charlotte Motor Speedway. I didn't take the photo, but I was there with a friend.

Regarding 1 FAST MF Cadillac Seville: Jon Ward was a builder of all sorts of movie cars, especially stunt ones. He was /is a consummate car nut, even buying the rights to the mid 50's Kurtis racing roadsters (one of which he raced in La Carrera in the 80's)
The Caddy starter with a NASCAR frame to which he modded the Seville body to fit. The back license plate has a switch that drops the plate so a super bright lamp blinds following cars.
I remember seeing posters of the car hanging on the wall of Joe Factor Sales in Burbank (an aircraft salvage/ parts store where most of us bought hardware and AN hoses for our race cars)

As far as I remember that Cadillac never hit the salt flats

His son has gone on to make a reputation for himself building the ICON Broncos, Land Cruisers, retro bad a** old "heaps" with fully upgraded drivetrains

Obligatory pic

Is this the same car that was written up in Car and Driver (I think) years ago?
Someone had the car built to give his clients a 200 mph joy ride.

Anyone remember the article?
