The first time I drove over that bridge was in 2000. I t was nighttime and raining and a white knuckle ride.

I worked with a guy that was born on that bridge.

So, on his way to that lake back in 1964, Craig Breedlove set the all time record for longest skid marks after his 'chutes failed. Variously claimed to be between five and six miles long, from a speed of over 570 mph. He took out a bunch of telephone poles along the way.
