Hmmmmm, did a double take on this one - a Hans Device on Denny Hulme's 1972 CanAm car?! No way. Obviously a current owner of the car driving in Historic races with a Hulme helmet.

^^^ Like the 'stanced' cars with the crazy camber - I would love to drive one of those assdraggers to see just how horrible and dangerous they are On the one hand, I wouldn't want to discourage anyone who is into cars/trucks in any way, but my god these things are ridiculous looking

I figure it is like trying to look over the bow of a speed boat under full throttle.

I bought this close to 20 years ago for $500. Needed a clutch and the customer didn’t want to spend the money to fix it. I replaced the clutch, water pump, belts, resealed the front of the motor and a host of other things and gave it to my wife for Christmas. She drove it for maybe a year or two, then said, “there’s 27 stop lights between home and work”! Then it sat around a lot until I finally got rid of it.
