While we haven’t heard much since last summer, long-time TFL Studios viewer and fan Roger spotted these three cars on manufacturer plates in Findlay, Ohio — a sign that Renault’s plan is on track to launch the Alpine A110 in the near future.

I'm guessing that the Alpine A110 could pick up sales quickly, but only if there isn't a gas powered Boxster/Cayman to compete with. No Jaguar F-Type either.

Porsche's production manager Albrecht Reimold in Automobilwoche, production will end by the middle of 2025 in the name of progress.....

Apparently, Porsche is pressing forward with its all-electric replacement of the 718 generation models, a fact we confirmed late last year. Reimold said that he has driven the all-electric replacement, and promises that Porsche fans won't be left without a properly fun car.

Alpine isn’t due to launch in America until 2027, so if you live Stateside it’ll be a while before you can get your hands on an A110 R.

Backing up, the expansion of Alpine is a key pillar of parent company Renault’s “Renaulution Plan,” which I didn’t like typing any more than you liked reading. The brand’s offerings will be 100-percent electric by next year, reminding us that the A110 as we know it today will bid farewell in 2024. It’ll be replaced by an EV sometime in 2026.

Alpine's assault on the U.S. market will include an electric successor to the A110 sports car.

An electric A310 four-door will also do battle with the Porsche Taycan, and there will be a pair of SUVs.

Alpine is also exploring hydrogen combustion, most recently with the four-cylinder Alpenglow Hy4 concept.

My brother bought one of these Cadillac CT6s (2016 I think) for $4000. It should be $20K+ but the trans was bad. These early ones all had defective transmissions. He put a new trans in for $5000. Awesome car. Twin-turbo V6 400+HP and only 3700lbs (mostly aluminum construction). It's pretty impressive.
