Is that the R22 that went down in the woods? Looks as if they were pretty lucky...How high up were they? Was it an autorotation?

not sure what happened and the actual facts are hard to determine but it was close to the ground and neither pilot or passenger were injured other than their pride. Looks like it will take some work to get it back in the air.

The start of the 1971 Elsinore Grand Prix, 250 Expert first wave off of 10. I am number 3, leading when this picture was taken. What a great race they used to have there. About 1000 bikes lined up and leaving 10 at a time. 10 laps of 10 miles each around and through the center of Elsinore.

From the 2008 vintage races at Mid-Ohio...A Yenko station-wagon! Was used as a tow vehicle for Yenko.
 Check this out: a Martini race car!  I am sure this is a replifake, but it is rather well done. The guy trailered it in.  And finally, (a repost) the Vega racecar from he!!.
