Thinking about taking this on a 350 mile trip this weekend, I wonder if this is wise?

Looks like a 289 nose grafted onto a 427 back half.

You my friend have a great eye for detail. It is a copy of the prototype 427 Cobra CSX3002 sans the side pipes and hood scoop. I wanted something a little different from the normal Cobra reproduction. This car was never a successful racecar despite being driven by Ken Miles, Phil Hill and Bob Bondourant. Heres a picture of the car this car was based on ...

it's actually not that loud, I am worried about my head, I keep imagining stones being tossed from truck tires. Just last week the windshield of my Audi was broke by a stone tossed from a truck.

They're fun in a COMPLETELY different manner than most cars. That one is a 1200cc original formula vee making what, 40? 60hp? It grips like a rat in a drainpipe, but goes like a paraplegic 90 year old in the straights but that doesn't really matter, with the motor 6 inches from your head and your head 6 inches off the ground it's a completely different experience from driving a fendered car.

It does look fun.... And of course I wouldn't stand for that 1200cc business... Rules be damned! Give me 2100!
