These look like models to me but...assuming they are not or are at least based on actual aircraft, what might be going on with the asymmetry in the circle?

I wouldn't be looking for this Daytona Coupe to be racing anytime soon. Rob Walton was in third place at Monterey when the accident occurred so now everyone is debating whether or not driver error was to blame.
